🛞 Tank Changes
Ikarus
- Increased drag in glide mode so that gliding slows more over time
- Design Note: We have more changes we’re working on for Ikarus, so this is more of an interim nudge in the right direction while we’re working on the broader set. We’re particularly looking at strafing runs and how to increase opportunities for counterplay. This nudge should make repeated strafing runs harder and more risky due to losing more speed over time. Once again, though, this is a small step and we have more changes coming. Rook
- Reduced the armor on the mantlet weak spot to 50mm from 60mm Helio
- Made the inner front armor, rear hull, and rear of turret armor more readable and consistent to shoot at, especially at low penetrations
- Reduced turret "ear" armor to 45mm from 65mm so the crit spot is more accessible to more penetration values Tempest
- Increased Max Speed to 46 from 44
- Increased Max Reverse Speed to 28 from 20
- Increased Hull Traverse Speed to 48 from 41.72
- Increased Gun Depression to -6.5 from -6
- Design Note: Tempest can be extremely strong in the right situations but has struggled to find those situations as we’ve introduced more maps and tanks. These changes are aimed at making Tempest a bit more flexible and easy to drive rather than increasing its raw power via gun or armor changes.
